I just found a great video about motivation that explains why self-organization works better.
I think this neatly shows why the very term “human resources” which implies treating humans just like any other machine in a company’s inventory is not only unethical and repugnant, but also simply wrong.

That is so well done it’s nearly unbelievable. What a wonderful and fun way to do “subtitling” (an issue I think about with my own youtube videos — wish I had cartooning skill!) and is such a crisp explanation of how our expectations of what *should* work often pull us in the wrong direction — the answer is contrary to common wisdom. Thanks for posting this!
